The customer resources
area requires the use of Session Cookies. These are
temporary files stored on your computer for the duration of
your browsing session only and are automatically deleted when
you close your browser. If you have problems logging in to the
customer resources area, then possibly you may not have
cookies enabled in your browser. You can easily enable this
setting by following these instructions for your particular
browser type.
Enabling Cookies
The procedure to configure your
browser to receive cookies is different depending on your
browser type. Listed below are the procedures for all the most
popular types of browser. If your particular browser is not on
our list, please contact our support department directly and
we will assist you.

Internet Explorer 6
The treatment of Cookies by Internet Explorer 6 is managed
via its Privacy setting. There are a
number of settings for this and this table illustrates which
settings will permit access to the customer resources
area.

Configuring IE6 for "Medium High"
Privacy
From the main menu...
- Select Tools
Internet Options
- Select the Privacy Tab and Move the slider to
"Medium High"
- Click OK on the "Internet Options"
dialogue.

Configuring IE6 for "High" Privacy
If you are require more restrictive treatment of cookies
then you can use the "High" setting however, you must add an
exception entry for the storythai website. This allows us
to place cookies on your system. All other web sites
will be treated according to the High Privacy setting.
From the main menu...
- Select Tools
Internet Options
- Select the Privacy Tab and Move the slider to
High
- Click the Edit button and you should
see the Manage Sites dialogue as shown below.

- Type in the storythai Web Address "www.storythai.com" as
shown above and click the Allow
button. The storythai.com will be added to the list of
Managed Web Sites with a setting of "Always Allow".
- Click OK on the "Manage Sites"
dialogue.
- Click OK on the "Internet Options"
dialogue.

Internet Explorer 5
The treatment of cookies in Internet Explorer 5 is managed
via its Security setting.
IE5 Cookie Configuration
This option changes how your browser handles cookies on all
websites.
From the main menu...
- Select Tools
Internet Options
- Select the Security tab to bring up the
"Security Settings" dialogue.
- Click the Custom Level button and
scroll down to the section on Cookies.
- Click the "Enable" option on the
"Allow per-session cookies (not stored)"
entry.
- Click OK on the "Security Settings"
dialogue.
- Click OK on the "Internet Options"
dialogue.

Netscape 7
Netscape 7 has a variety of cookie configuration
options. The most basic is simply to allow all cookies
(the default), or to allow cookies based on privacy
settings.
Configuring Netscape 7 to allow all cookies
From the main menu...
- Select Edit
Preferences...
- Under the Category List on the side panel, expand the
"Privacy & Security" option.
- Expanding the "Privacy & Security"
option reveals a number of privacy preferences. Select
the "Cookies" option.
- On the right hand panel, select either the
"Enable cookies for the originating web site
only" or the "Enable all cookies"
option.

(Note if you have ticked the Ask me
before storing a cookie option enabled, then when your
browser requests permission to store a cookie from the
storythai website, you can safely select the "Remember this
decision?" option to avoid having to repeatedly answer this
question every time you login to the customer resources
area.)
- Click OK on the Preferences
dialogue.

Configuring Netscape 7 to allow cookies based on privacy
settings
From the main menu...
- Select Edit
Preferences...
- Under the Category List on the side panel, expand the
"Privacy & Security" option.
- Expanding the "Privacy & Security"
option reveals a number of privacy preferences. Select
the "Cookies" option.
- On the right hand panel, select the "Enable
cookies based on privacy settings".
- Click the "View" button.

- Make sure that either low, medium or high is
selected.
(If you select custom, then please make
sure that all of the items under "First Party
Cookies" are set to either "Flag"
or "Accept".)
- Click OK on the Privacy Settings
dialogue.
- Click OK on the Preferences
dialogue.

Netscape 6
Configuring Netscape 6 cookie handling is very similar to
the Netscape 7 option above, except that Netscape 6 does not
have the option for automatic handling of cookies based on
privacy settings.
Configuring Netscape 6 to allow all cookies
From the main menu...
- Select Edit
Preferences...
- Under the Category List on the side panel, expand the
"Privacy & Security" option.
- Expanding the "Privacy & Security"
option reveals a number of privacy preferences. Select
the "Cookies" option.
- On the right hand panel, select either the
"Enable cookies for the originating web site
only" or the "Enable all cookies"
option.
- Click OK on the Preferences
dialogue.

Netscape 4
Configuring cookie handling on Netscape 4 is similar
to that of Netscape 6, the dialogues being only
slightly different.
Configuring Netscape 4 to allow all cookies
From the main menu...
- Select Edit
Preferences...
- Select the "Advanced" option.
- Select either the "Accept only cookies that get
sent back to the originating server" or the
"Accept all cookies" option.
- Click OK.

Opera 7
Opera 7 and Opera 6 cookie configuration are very
similar.
(Note - if after configuring your browser to
accept cookies and you are still having problems logging in,
you may need to turn off Opera
7 automatic redirection.)
Configuring Opera 7 to allow all cookies
From the main menu...
- Select File
Preferences...
- From the panel of options on the left select the
"Privacy" option.
- On the "Cookies" panel on the right
make sure that the "Enable Cookies" option
is ticked.
- From the first drop down menu select the
"Automatically accept all cookies" option.
- On the second drop down menu select the "Accept
from all servers" option.
- Click OK on the Preferences
dialogue.
Configuring Opera 7 to allow cookies
from only the storythai website
From the main menu...
- Select File
Preferences...
- From the panel of options on the left select the
"Privacy" option.
- On the "Cookies" panel on the right
make sure that the "Enable Cookies" option
is ticked.
- From the first drop down menu select the "Accept
only cookies from selected servers" option.
- On the second drop down menu select the "Only
accept cookies for the server" option.
- Click on the "Edit server filters..."
button.

- Click on the "New..." button.

- Type www.storythai.com into
the entry line as shown above.
- Clear all of the check boxes except for the
"Accept cookies for server/domain" as shown
above.
- Click OK on the Server Properties
dialogue.
- Click Close on the Server Manager
dialogue.
- Click OK on the Preferences
dialogue.
